We invited our Greek friends to stay with us at the beach, but we did have a few quiet days to ourselves before they (and their kids) arrived and things got crazy. This is the beautiful view off of our front porch at sunset. We had this view every night, but we had to get out there fast or we would miss it.
The day after Thanksgiving was not quite as chilly, so we -- of course -- dug a hole. Daddy, Mommy, ad Savannah all pitched in to dig.
Gage just pitched in by playing in the hole.
I didn't take many pictures of the house (called Fish Stix), but it was so perfect for us. Open, bright, airy, with beautiful views off both sides of the front.
We stopped by at Tacky Jack's for some lunch (and spicy bloody marys)!
And, we walked along the docks at the Fort Morgan marina, watching them move boats from the dry dock to the water with a forklift. We also marveled at how big pelican poop is -- think dinner plate size!
